300 breaks records
The movie adaptation of 300 has broken box office records for opening weekends in March, taking $70m in it's first 3 days of release.I have to admit, this is far more than I could have hoped for. While Frank Millers comics are amongst the best available, I'd never really imagined something like 300 as having massive mainstream appeal, a la Spiderman.
Here's hoping it keeps going strong.
